To discuss their strategic plan for this year's events, they organised a staff retreat, which proved to be very beneficial.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-1082284 e-flex e-con-boxed e-con e-parent\" data-id=\"1082284\" data-element_type=\"container\" data-e-type=\"container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"e-con-inner\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-23604d9 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"23604d9\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>The retreat began with a discussion of the organisation's mission, values, and goals. From there, the team generated a list of focus areas that needed to be addressed in order to achieve our objectives. The team brainstormed ideas, such as involving fathers, mothers, and brothers in Zinduka projects and providing occasional sensitisation training on the harmful effects of such practices against women and girls in the area. The team also identified the most influential target groups that needed to be involved in the fight against FGM in Kuria.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-3a6202c e-flex e-con-boxed e-con e-parent\" data-id=\"3a6202c\" data-element_type=\"container\" data-e-type=\"container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"e-con-inner\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-0e09e42 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"0e09e42\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>In addition, the team reviewed the successes and challenges of the 2022 December safe camp and developed a plan of action for the upcoming follow-up programme, for the girls' December 2022 safe camp. The team received exceptional training on monitoring and evaluation, which helped them identify what was working and what needed improvement, leading to better decision-making and programme improvement.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-81005da e-flex e-con-boxed e-con e-parent\" data-id=\"81005da\" data-element_type=\"container\" data-e-type=\"container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"e-con-inner\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-ad60a8e elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"ad60a8e\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>The team also took the time to discuss their working plans and well-being to ensure good working conditions. They enjoyed delicious meals together and took walks in the park, building stronger relationships and connecting with each other on a personal level.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-955b8e6 e-flex e-con-boxed e-con e-parent\" data-id=\"955b8e6\" data-element_type=\"container\" data-e-type=\"container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"e-con-inner\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-6f3fe9e elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"6f3fe9e\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>Overall, the Zinduka staff retreat was a highly valuable experience. Through a series of discussions, the team generated a number of creative solutions and strategies for moving forward.
